During the period from the 11th till the 14th of February 2016 Riga Aeronautical Institute was visited by the Managing Director of "Kazaeronavigatsia", Mrs.Karlygash Kaken, and the Parliamentary Deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mrs.Nadezhda Petuhova. Riga Aeronautical Institute was represented by Mr.Ivan Kuznetsov, President, Mr.Michail Karol, Vicepresident, Mr.Ibrahim Arandas, Director of the Training Center, and Mrs.Asnata Venckava, External relations Manager.

On Monday, the 8th of February 2016, Riga Aeronautical Institute launched the Type Training Boeing 737 Classic, Category B1 Training course. This training course will be finalized on the 14th of March. If successfully completed, the participants will be awarded Part-147 certificate in accordance with EASA requirements.
