On the 29th and the 30th of June 2018 Riga Aeronautical Institute (RAI) convened an international scientific conference "TRANSPORT. EDUCATION. LOGISTICS AND ENGINEERING - 2018".
More than 26 reports of different content were presented at the conference, including such subjects as flight safety, aviation education, economics, marketing and engineering sciences.
The conference was opened by RAI Rector, Anatolijs Melnis and Vice-president, Mihail Karoļ. Greeting speech was on behalf of Karlis Kreslinsh, parliamentarian and professor.
Greeting letters to the conference were also presented on behalf of the Vice President of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, Andrey Krasnikov, and the Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jānis Endziņš.
The conference included two different subsections - "Aviation and Engineering", moderated by Dr.sc.ing. Igor Petuhov, and "Transport logistics, economics and marketing. Education", moderated by Dr.sc. ing.. Ilmārs Blumbergs.
