ESF project „Support for EQAR agency to implement specific requirements”

Riga Aeronautical Institute has successfully concluded participation in ESF project named "Support for EQAR agency to implement specific requirements"
Within the framework of the pilot project, the RAI study area "Transport services" was evaluated and accredited with the following study programs:
1. Professional bachelor study program “Air traffic management”; 
2. Professional bachelor study program “International transport logistics”;
3. Professional bachelor study program “International carrier business management”;
4. Professional master study program “International carrier business management”.
The evaluation was carried out by international experts from Italy, Czech Republic and Latvia. The experts highly appreciated all programs of the study direction, emphasizing the modern material basis and the good cooperation of the higher education institution with the employers.
Of the total score, the highest score of "Excellent" was obtained in 21% of cases, the score is "OK" - 70%, but "Satisfactory" - 9%.
Based on the results of expert evaluation, the decision taken by the Study Accreditation Commission on May 8, 2017 was to accredit RAI study direction "Transport services" for 6 years.
