In December 2016 Riga Aeronautical Institute has successfully recertified the ATC training programs in the frame of ATS TO (Air Traffic Service Training Organization) in accordance with the requirements of the new EU Regulation Nr.340/2015, which is entering into force on the 1st of January 2017. Based on the results of the recertification audit, Latvian Civil Aviation Agency has awarded RAI with the certificate LVA/ATS TO/02/2016 for the following ATC training programs:
•Basic Training
•Aerodrome Control Visual Rating (ADV)
•Aerodrome Control Instrument Rating for Tower – ADI (TWR)
•Approach Control Procedural Rating (APP)
•Area Control Procedural Rating (ACP)
•Approach Control Surveillance Rating (APS)
•Area Control Surveillance Rating (ACS)

New certificate is termless and enters into force on the 1st of January 2017.
