On the 12th of August 2015 the Doctor of Engineering, Olafs Jānis Brinkmanis, finishes his job as a Rector of Riga Aeronautical Institute.
Last ten years O.J.Brinkmanis was successfully fulfilling the duties of the Rector of Riga Aeronautical Institute. He was elected fo this position twice by the Institute employees, due to his ability, knowledge and immense working experience. In his capacity as the Rector O.J. Brinkmanis coordinated the training of aviation specialists, including the training of pilots for the national carrier airBaltic, implemented processes for the involvement of foreign students and organized licencing and accreditation of the study programs.
Riga Aeronautical Institute management, employees and students would like to express SINCERE THANKS to O.J. Brinkmanis for his incomparable input into RAI development and in connection with the finalization of his exceptionally successful administrative working career!
O.J.Brinkmanis will continue his academic activities as a member of RAI professors’team.
