On 28th of September Riga Aeronautical Institute (RAI) convened Student’s Self-Government elections. We would like to thank all RAI students who came and voted for their chosen candidate.

On 10th of September Riga Aeronautical Institute (RAI) convened an annual administrative and methodological meeting for management, teaching staff, administration and members of the student government, in accordance with epidemiological safety requirements for the non-proliferation of Covid-19.
An annual administrative and methodological meeting was opened and conducted by External Relations Director, A. Venckava.
The Rector of RAI, A. Melnis, told in his speech about the results of the academic year 2020/21 and about the tasks for the academic year 2020/21.

Leading lecturer of physics of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, author of more than 50 scientific articles, the representative of the Kaunas University of Technology Rimantas Knizikevičius visited Riga Aeronautical Institute in the frame of "Erasmus+" program,
Rimantas Knizikevičius got acquainted with the material and technical basis of the Riga Aeronautical Institute, exchanged experiences with leading teachers of RAI and discussed the introduction of progressive techniques in the learning process. The parties agreed to continue cooperation in the development of the educational process and research activities.
Such contacts are extremely useful for the exchange of experience and expansion of international cooperation.

Dear staff, lecturers and students!

Today, on the 15th of July, 2021, Riga Aeronautical Institute celebrates its 79th birthday. 79 years is an impressive period for an educational institution.
Congratulatory speeches are heard today from the Senior Vice President Mikhail Karol, management, teachers and graduates.
We wish our team and academic staff great success in training specialists which are in demand on the market, and to students - new academic achievements. We are sure that the knowledge acquired at RAI helps our graduates to reach the highest professional, life and career heights!

Upon the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the representatives of RAI, Michail Karol, Senior Vice President, and Asnata Venckava, External Relations Director, participated in the opening of the photo exhibition dedicated to the capital of Kazakhstan, city Nur-Sultan, which is a twinned city of Riga.

Today, on the 2nd of July, Riga Aeronautical Institute convened the 6th International Scientific and Practical conference “TRANSPORT, EDUCATION, LOGISTICS AND ENGINEERING - 2021”.
The conference was attended by representatives of Latvia, Portugal, Uzbekistan and Russia. We would like to thank all the participants of the conference, as well as note the very high level of preparation of reports and the professionalism of each speaker.
Our special gratitude to the official representatives of the Republic of Latvia, to the Member of the Parliament of the 13th Saeima, Viktors Valainis, and to the Director of the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport Artūrs Kokars.
