On September the 5th 2023, Riga Aeronautical Institute convened the opening ceremony for the 2023/2024th academic year. The ceremony was attended by RAI academic staff and students, including the 1st year students. The ceremony was opened by the director of engineering studies Vladimir Reiskarts. Chairman of the Convent Marina Romele and Rector Anatolijs Melnis, who greeted the students with the start of the new academic year.

On June 12, the management of the Riga Aeronautical Institute held negotiations with representatives of Navoi Innovation University. Since at the moment the civil aviation industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan is actively developing, the state needs pilots, mechanics, air traffic controllers and other aviation specialists. The RAI team spoke in detail about our training programs for aviation specialists in various fields and shared the experience accumulated in this area.
