The Riga Aeronavigation Institute announces a vacancy for the position of Technical Director.
Main responsibilities:
• Plan the technical development strategy, determine tasks, and organize their execution
• Ensure the implementation and development of innovative IT systems in the institute's infrastructure, study process, and scientific research activities
• Be responsible for the technical provision of the institution and laboratories and the continuity of their operations
• Conclude and monitor management and service contracts
Requirements:
• Higher education in engineering/IT technology/radio electronics (a doctoral degree will be considered an advantage)
• Experience in managing engineering network services or technical departments
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent knowledge of Latvian and English, as well as desirable knowledge of Russian
• Experience in a managerial position (experience in a higher education institution will be considered an advantage)

• Monthly salary of 1700 EUR gross, as well as additional payment for teaching lectures
