The Riga Aviation Forum (RAF) 2025 gathered representatives, experts, researchers, and leaders of the aviation industry from the Baltics and Europe to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the aviation sector in the region. The conference highlighted strategic development directions as well as innovative solutions on the path towards sustainable and climate-neutral aviation. Special focus was given to aviation innovations, multimodality, urban development around air transport hubs, and mobility challenges in modern cities. Our institute was represented at the event by Vicepresident, Marina Romele, Rector Ilmārs Blumbergs. Development Director Ibahims Arandas and Director of the Engineering Programs Vladimirs Reiskarts, who gained valuable insights and professional experience, while also fostering new contacts and cooperation opportunities at the international level.
