Cooperation and internationalization

RAI cooperates with multiple institutions, including state and non-state organizations, professional associations, universities, companies, colleges, secondary schools, etc. Cooperation is planned and organized depending on the type of institutions, importance in the industry as well as geographical location.

The main criteria for starting cooperation are the partner's reputation, compliance with the specifics of the activity direction and benefits for all cooperation partners, as well as the investment of one's own resources related to innovation or technology transfer.

RAI actively cooperates with industries using various types of cooperation platforms. Partners and  employers are attracted through working in industry associations or by participating in working groups organized by ministries (e.g. professional standard expert working group). Partners from higher education institutions are attracted through participation in conferences, seminars and forums.

The main directions of cooperation with the industry partners are the following:

• Participation in scientific research and creative activities;

• Participation in the improvement of study directions and study programs;

• Provision of internships;

• Organization of methodological events;

• Organization of guest lectures and practice;

• Participation in state final exams.

The chosen directions of cooperation allow ensuring both the achievement of strategic goals, which are defined in the development strategy of RAI, and also to implement the goals of the study direction.

For example, cooperation with employers at RAI takes place in various forms during the entire program implementation, starting from the idea of developing a new program and its licensing, ending with requesting new specialists and receiving them at workplaces; teaching and administrative staff participating in professional and scientific conferences, as well as other  events.

Partners from higher education institutions are attracted through participation in conferences. These are universities that implement study programs similar to RAI, and companies that are interested in specialists trained by RAI and that can provide appropriate internships.

In cooperation with higher education institutions, emphasis is placed on scientific research and creative activities, staff qualification improvement and methodical events.

The main directions of cooperation with higher education institutions are the following:

• Participation in scientific research and creative activities;

• Organization of methodical events;

• Participation in state final exams.

Cooperation with foreign partners gives RAI the opportunity to get acquainted with the experience of these organizations, with the development trends of the transport sector and the need for certain specialists. When elaborating the development strategy of the study field and planning the work of the university, RAI definitely takes into account the opinion of the mentioned institutions, their experience and achievements.
