On the 19th of December 2015 as a part of the training process quality upgrade Riga Aeronautical Institute (RAI) convened a meeting dedicated to organizational and methodological issues. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Rezekne and Daugavpils branches and their students from the first, second, third and fourth years of study.
During the meeting RAI management and employees demonstrated the possibilities of the Institute, discussed with the participants modern teaching methods and organized experience exchange between Riga branch and other branch lecturers.

In November 2015 Riga Aeronautical Institute licensed a new program of professional training “Labor protection and safe working environment” (License Nr. Р-12908 from the 13th of November 2015).
This is a program for specialists dealing with labor protection and creation of safe environment for working positions. On the 28th -29th of October 2015 Almaty, Kazakhstan, hosted an international workshop "Legal issues of international and national regulation of civil aviation". The workshop was organized by KAZAERONAVIGATSIA Training Center.

On the 11th of September RAI administrative and methodological meeting took place, which was attended by RAI management, academic staff and students' self-government representatives.
