THE 3-nd INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE
“INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT: ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT, ORGANISATION.”
19-20 of July, 2012, RAI, Riga, Latvia
On the 25th of January 2011 “Riga Aeronautical Institute” and the organization “EUROCONTROL” has concluded an agreement on using a unified European Aeronautical Database (EAD).
Under this agreement, RAI is entrusted to provide training of AIS specialists on using EAD database.
EAD is a centralized reference database of quality-assured aeronautical information for airspace users and an integrated AIS solution for service providers.
Since 2010 Riga Aeronautical Institute is a partner in Pelican Flight Training LLC, based at North Perry Airport, Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA, which has been training professional pilots on a continuous basis since 1985. This school has an excellent reputation and strong training ethic, which was acknowledged when Pelican Flight Training was named 'School of Special Merit' by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
We are proud to announce that today this school is one of only eight flight training schools in the USA, accredited by ACCSC, which is approved for the issue of the F1 student visa.
RAI/Pelican FTC provide our students with airline pilot training from basic to medium-jet type rating utilizing both Federal Aviation Administration and Joint Aviation Authority procedures standards.
We may say that since day one Pelican Flight Training use to have enrolled applicants from all over the world coming as students and leaving the school as graduated professional pilots ready to join the aviation industry.
Networking and knowing how to relate with people from different cultures gives that extra edge that not every pilot has the privilege to experience and learn.
Pelican Flight Training graduated pilots currently flying in 78 Countries!
The unique combination of:
allow our professional training programs be the best suited to match the needs and demands of both individual pilots and airline companies. Our students are trained up to and beyond standards required by the FAA and JAA, with airline careers in mind, and with crew concept part of the curriculum. We believe that a pilot going through our program from zero experience to CPL/ATPL, with the possibility of a jet transition course and type rating either in our partner simulator center or in the airline training centers, is more than suitable for entry into the airline system.
Starting with June 2009 Riga Aeronautical Institute is a holder of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) sertificate PART 66, PART 147 numbered LV.147.0001. The Institute convenes the following programs:
Type Training Boeing 737 – 300/400/500 (CFM 56) B1
Type Training Boeing 737 – 300/400/500 (CFM 56) B2
Training of specialists is provided in RAI Training Center according to Maintenance Training Organization Exposition (MTOE).
