Vadym Sytin, a second-year student at Riga Aeronautical Institute, participated in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) hosted by Kielce University of Technology, Poland. The programme combined intensive practical training, international collaboration, and cultural exploration, providing students with an excellent opportunity to strengthen their professional competencies while gaining valuable international experience.

During the programme, Vadym developed practical skills in modern manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing, 3D scanning, and CNC programming. One of the key achievements was designing and successfully implementing his own CNC program for a high-precision face milling operation. Working in state-of-the-art laboratories allowed him to transform theoretical knowledge into practical engineering skills. In addition to the academic activities, participants explored the cultural heritage of Poland through organized visits to the historic cities of Sandomierz and Kielce. These excursions offered valuable insights into the country’s history, architecture, and local traditions.

An important aspect of the programme was its international environment. Students from Bulgaria, Slovakia, Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Greece, and other European countries collaborated on practical assignments, exchanged ideas, and established lasting professional connections. One of the most memorable moments of the mobility was a friendly football match between the international student team and the professors of Kielce University of Technology, highlighting the spirit of teamwork and intercultural friendship fostered by Erasmus+.

This mobility gave me much more than technical knowledge. It strengthened my confidence in working within an international team, introduced me to inspiring people from across Europe, and provided experiences that will undoubtedly benefit my future career.” – Vadym Sytin, Riga Aeronautical Institute student.

Riga Aeronautical Institute sincerely thanks the Erasmus+ Programme and Kielce University of Technology for providing students with outstanding opportunities to develop professionally, broaden their international perspective, and gain valuable practical experience.
