From 8 to 11 September 2026, Riga Aeronautical Institute (RAI) Rector Ilmārs Blumbergs, together with representatives of Kielce University of Technology, participated in the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), held at the Targi Kielce Exhibition and Congress Centre in Kielce, Poland. MSPO is one of the most significant international events for the defence and security industry in Europe. The exhibition is regarded as one of the three largest defence and security industry exhibitions in Europe, bringing together industry companies, research and educational institutions, as well as representatives of national and international organisations. Participation in the exhibition provided RAI with an opportunity to explore the latest developments in defence technologies, aviation, electronics, unmanned systems and security solutions. RAI’s participation in international industry events strengthens the Institute’s international cooperation, promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience, and creates new opportunities for the development of education, research and innovation projects. Such events provide an important platform for further cooperation with international partners and representatives of the technology sector.
