Become an Airline Pilot – ATPL Pilot Training

A commercial pilot career within a bachelor’s study programme. The programme is designed as an FAA-oriented pilot training delivered in the United States, followed by a structured transition towards European (EASA) licensing requirements. It is one of the fastest practical routes towards a commercial pilot career (PPL, CPL and ATPL).

On successful completion, you will be ready for an airline career, holding both professional pilot qualifications and an academic degree.

What you will gain

• Private Pilot licence (PPL)

• Instrument flight competencies and rating (IR)

• Commercial pilot licence (CPL)

• Multi-engine flight competencies (ME)

• Airline transport pilot qualification (frozen ATPL)

• Bachelor’s degree

Why choose RAI?

Our lead partner training organisation, “Pelican Flight Training”, is located at North Perry Airport in Hollywood, Florida. Logistically, we are equidistant between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL), giving our students easy access to our facility – no matter where they are coming from around the world.

The programme combines the efficiency and operational flexibility of the FAA Part 141 training system with a strategically designed pathway for transition to EASA licensing standards, enabling graduates to access both international and European airline employment markets.

How the programme works

Students first complete the core FAA pilot certification stages, including Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, instrument and multi-engine training components. After the U.S. training phase, students who intend to pursue airline employment in Europe complete the applicable EASA conversion process.
