On the 30th of June and 1st of July 2016 Riga Aeronautical Institute (RAI) convened an international scientific conference “Transportation systems, logistics and engineering – 2016”.
More than 35 reports of different content were presented at the conference, including such subjects as flight safety, aviation education, economics, marketing and engineering sciences.
The conference was opened by RAI Rector, Anatolijs Melnis. Greeting speeches were made by Arnis Muižnieks, Director of the Aviation Department (Ministry of Communication), Faat Bogdashkin, the First Deputy of the Kazaeronavigatsia General Director, Karlis Kreslinsh, parliamentarian and professor, and Artūrs Kokars, Member of the Board of the Latvian Aviation Association.
