On the 9th and 10th of June Riga Aeronautical Institute was visited by KAZAERONAVIGATSIA General Director, Azat Bekturov, and his colleague, Konstantin Maiorov.

On the 5th of June we have finalized the delivery of the Basic ATC training course.

We congradulate the students with the successful completion of the course and we look forward to see them at the refresher courses and higher education programs!

We would like to congradulate our student from the program „Air Transport Systems Management”, Karen Cvetanovich, with the receipt of the Private Pilot License!

We wish him further success in his training activities!

On the 29th of May Riga Aeronautical Institute purchased helicopter MI-2. It will be used for the training of aircraft maintenance specialists in the frame of the program "Aircraft technical maintenance" for practical and laboratory lessons. It is planned that in the nearest future the student self-government will start the reconstruction and visual upgrade of the helicopter.

On the 29th of April we have convened the final training session of the course „Profession of today”. The participants, which also included aircraft maintenace students, visited the airport and attended the seminar. Upon the completion of the course each of the participants received a certificate which gives the advantages for the enrollment in RAI.

On the 29th of April RAI student self-government met with the Head of the Latvian Student Union, Rihards Vijums. The participants discussed the cooperation issues and future development plans. Our guest also got acquainted with our administration and the training base of our Institute.

We would like to congradulate Rihard with his new position and we were happy to meet him!

On the 25th of April we have finalized EAD (European AIS Database) training course for AIS specialists. The course was convened in cooperation with Eurocontrol и Group EAD.

We would like to congratulate the course participants with the successful completion of the course and certificate award!
