On the 27th of March the graduates of the programs „Management of International Transportation Enterprise”, „Aircraft Technical Maintenance” and „Air transport systems management” (pilots) were awarded by their diplomas in the RAI conference hall.
We sincerely congratulate our bachelors with completion of their studies and we look forward to see them at master’s program!

On the 23d of March RAI has launched a Type Training Boeing 737 Classic Category B1 Training Course. It is planned to finalize the course on the 24th of April this year. It is convened for the aircraft maintenance specialists, which are currently employed, and for the best RAI students. After passing the appropriate exam the course participants will be awarded Part 147 certificate according to EASA Part-66 requirements.

On the 25th of January 2011 “Riga Aeronautical Institute” and the organization “EUROCONTROL” has concluded an agreement on using a unified European Aeronautical Database (EAD).

Under this agreement, RAI is entrusted to provide training of AIS specialists on using EAD database.

EAD is a centralized reference database of quality-assured aeronautical information for airspace users and an integrated AIS solution for service providers.

Starting with June 2009 Riga Aeronautical Institute is a holder of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) sertificate PART 66, PART 147 numbered LV.147.0001. The Institute convenes the following programs:

Type Training Boeing 737 – 300/400/500 (CFM 56) B1
Type Training Boeing 737 – 300/400/500 (CFM 56) B2

Training of specialists is provided in RAI Training Center according to Maintenance Training Organization Exposition (MTOE).
